Coffee drinks, discounts and deals for this week
February is bringing much love in the coffee world!
My January was hectic with power outages, winter storms, and sickness. Thankfully I had coffee there to keep me happy. (Well, except during the ice storm.)
Remember to follow me on Threads, if you want to keep up with a more daily feed. And I’ve been trying to post more often on Instagram. And if you are interested in recipes for your at-home coffee-making needs, join my paid community.

What’s happening this week at …
Starbucks
The new line of Oleato drinks launched nationwide at Starbucks and is now available everywhere. These drinks are made with olive oil. Yes, actual olive oil acts just like a flavored syrup and is added to these drinks. There are three standard options, the Oleato Caffè Latte with Oatmilk, the Oleato Golden Foam Iced Shaken Espresso with Toffeenut, and the Oleato Golden Foam which can top iced beverages.
Are they any good? I like the shaken espresso just fine, it’s a nice nutty flavor. The Oleato latte was fairly in between for me. It wasn’t bad or good. I’m sure some who love olive oil will love the latte. Either way, it’s nice to have a variety of options, and as someone pointed out, this is a naturally sugar-free flavor to add.
Valentine’s Day drinks: Starbucks is also featuring drinks for Valentine’s Day. Order a Chocolate-covered Strawberry Cream Frappuccino (great for kids!), or a Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Cold Brew to feel festive.
Dutch Bros
It’s Dutch Luv season, which means if you order one of the featured drinks Dutch Bros will donate $1 to a local food charity.
Both the Dutch Luv latte and frost are made with sugar cookie syrup and topped with a pink raspberry soft top. The latte is made with white coffee. The Rebel option is made with berry flavor and the same pink raspberry soft top. These drinks are SWEET and pack a flavorful, fruity punch. I tried the Rebel and couldn’t stop drinking it!
Dunkin’
Dunkin’ is featuring heart-shaped donuts, as well as their Pink Velvet Macchiato. A “visually striking, layered drink captured hearts with its bold espresso, red velvet cake flavor and notes of cream cheese frosting.” You only have a few more weeks to order it!
