One great thing about making your own café-style coffee at home is that you can make use of whatever you have on hand. I developed this Thanksgiving Leftovers Latte Recipe a few years ago, and it’s a delicious treat!

Thanksgiving Leftovers Latte
2 tablespoons cranberry sauce
2 tablespoons chocolate chips (I used mini semi-sweet)
8-10 ounces half-and-half (or milk of your choice)
2 ounces espresso (regular or instant)
Combine the cranberry sauce and chocolate chips in a small container or coffee mug. Microwave for about 30 seconds, until melted. Stir to combine. Add it to the bottom of your coffee cup.
Heat and froth the half-and-half or milk. Heat milk to 140°-160°depending your heat tolerance. Froth the milk with a milk frothing wand or other tool.
While milk is heating, brew espresso.
Pour espresso over the chocolate and cranberry mixture. Then pour the frothed milk on top.
*Technically if you make this with half-and-half instead of another milk, it is a breve.
